Sizing
Petite is under an inch across the insertable section, which is smaller than most plugs sold as beginner sizes, and it is the right choice if you have never worn one. It is also shaped a little differently from the other two, with a shorter rounder head rather than the long teardrop. Small steps up to 1.06 in across, medium to 1.3 in. The jump from small to medium is the big one, so take them in order.
How to use it
Warm the metal in your hands or in a bowl of warm water first, since it comes out of the drawer cold. Use plenty of lube on the tip and the neck, then go slowly and let your body take it rather than pushing. To take it out, relax and ease it out by the base, adding more lube if it feels dry.
Care
Wash it with warm water and mild soap, or a toy cleaner, and dry it fully before storing. Aluminum is nonporous, so nothing soaks in and it washes completely clean. Do not put it in the dishwasher or leave it sitting wet. Store it somewhere it will not knock against other metal or glass, since the plating is what gives it the finish.

Which size should I get?
Petite if you have never worn a plug, small if you have and it went fine. Medium is a real step up in width at 1.3 in across, and it is not where to start.
Is the petite the same shape as the others?
Not quite. It has a shorter, rounder head where the small and medium have a longer teardrop. Same purple chrome, same gem, same flared base.
Is metal safe for anal play?
Yes. It is solid, nonporous and has a wide flared base, so nothing can go anywhere it should not. Check it for chips in the plating before each use and retire it if you find one.
Can I use it for temperature play?
