Womanizer Blend Review: Air Pulse Plus G-Spot Vibration, Rated

By Zoey Unicorn · 7 min read
The Womanizer Blend is a dual-action vibrator that puts air pulse stimulation on the clitoris and vibration on the G-spot at the same time. It is powerful, well made and fun to use solo, but it is louder and fussier than a $129 toy should be, and it is not a first toy. I rated it 4.1 out of 5, and here is how I got there.
I was excited to try this one. Womanizer is one of my favorite brands. They use high-end materials, and they were the first to bring air pulse technology to the market, so my expectations were high going in.
Womanizer Blend Unboxing and First Impressions
The packaging is beautiful. It is a very nice unboxing experience, the kind that makes a toy feel like a gift to yourself before you have even turned it on. Inside you get the vibe and a charging cord, and that is it, which keeps things simple.
The shape takes a second to understand. There is a hook-shaped part that goes inside and vibrates, and a top part that fits snugly over the clitoris and delivers the air pulse. It is the same idea as a rabbit vibrator, but the outer half uses air instead of a buzzing tip. If you want a refresher on that style, my explainer on the rabbit vibrator covers the basics.

How the Air Pulse and the Curved Inner Arm Work Together
Air pulse from Womanizer feels like no other brand. It is a pulsation against the clitoris rather than a vibration, and the toy does not actually touch you there. If you have only used vibrators, it is a different sensation entirely, and it is the reason people get so loyal to this brand. I wrote a full breakdown of air pulse vs vibration if you want to know which one suits you.
The part that goes inside has its own vibration, aimed at the G-spot. Once it is seated, the top portion acts like a handle. If you are playing solo, that is a nice feature, because you can press down on the top slightly to get a rocking sensation from the part in the middle. It is an easy way to control the pressure without changing a setting. Finding a snug fit was easy for me, and that matters a lot with this toy, as you will see in the noise section below. Keep in mind the inner arm is much more curved than a regular G-spot vibrator, so it is its own shape rather than a straight G-spot toy with a clitoral head attached.

Strength: Why I Would Not Start With a Womanizer
The air pulse is strong. It is comparable to the current Womanizer models, which are quite powerful, and I only went up to the third level during testing. That was already plenty for me.
Because of that intensity, I would not recommend any Womanizer as a first toy. The feeling can be a lot if your body is not used to it, and you want a toy that lets you build up gradually. A gentler starting point will serve a first-timer much better, and the best beginner vibrators list is a good place to start. Save the Blend for when you already know you love suction-style stimulation.
The Controls: The Part I Fumbled
The buttons are not as intuitive as I would like. There is a plus and a minus, and turning it on was easy to figure out. I held the plus button, which is how most vibes work. Turning it off was a different story. I fumbled around, then had to look up the instructions to find out how to do it.
The part that goes inside runs on a separate button, and I had to look that one up in the instructions too. None of this is a dealbreaker, and you will learn it after a session or two. But for a premium toy, I want to pick it up and know exactly what each button does without a manual.
The Inner Arm and the Noise
Two things kept this from scoring higher. First, I wish the inner portion were a little thicker and longer. It gives a nice targeted sensation, but I wanted a more full feeling from it.
Second, I was disappointed by how loud it is. For a premium toy, I want whisper quiet. When the Blend is inserted in the proper position, it is quiet. If the fit is not snug, though, it gets quite loud, especially on the higher modes. That means the noise level depends a lot on your body and your positioning, so it may not be the right pick for a thin-walled apartment or a shared home. If quiet is your top priority, check the best discreet vibrators before you buy.
Who the Womanizer Blend Is For
The Blend suits someone who already knows she loves air pulse and wants G-spot stimulation at the same time. It works well for solo play, and the handle-like top makes it easy to adjust pressure without help. It is also waterproof, so the bath and shower are fair game. If you are deciding between this brand and a pricier air-pulse option, my Rose Toy vs Womanizer comparison is worth a read.
It is not the best fit for a first toy, for anyone who needs near-silent operation, or for someone who likes a very full inner sensation.
How I Rated the Womanizer Blend
Performance and power earned a 5 out of 5, because the air pulse is as strong and distinctive as I hoped. Quality and materials earned a 5, since the toy has that high-end feel I expect from the brand. Design and look earned a 5 too, from the shape to the beautiful packaging. Overall experience earned a 4, because when everything lines up, it is a very good time.
Ease of use earned a 3, because the buttons need the manual. Noise and discretion earned a 2.5, because a premium toy should stay quiet even when the fit is not perfect. Averaged out, that is a 4.1.
Care and Practical Notes
Use water-based or hybrid lube with the Blend, because silicone lube can break down silicone toys. Wash the inner arm and the clitoral head with warm water and mild unscented soap, or a toy cleaner, after every session, and let it air dry. Store it away from other silicone toys so they do not stick to each other. It charges with the included cord, so charge it fully before the first use.
The Verdict
The Womanizer Blend earns its score on power and design. The air pulse is the real deal, the packaging is lovely, and finding a snug fit is easy. It loses points for controls that need the manual and for noise that climbs when the fit is not snug. Overall, it lands at 4.1 out of 5.
