Coral Embroidered Bra and Thong Set

Pink peonies embroidered across blush mesh, every edge bound in bright coral satin.

The ground is a fine blush mesh, sheer enough that it more or less disappears. The peonies are worked over it in pink, big open blooms with their leaves, and then every edge is bound in a coral satin that has nothing to do with the flowers and is brighter than both. Coral bows sit at the center of all three pieces.

The cups are demi with underwire and no lining at all, so the flowers sit straight on skin. The coral binding traces the wire in a hard curve under each one, and the top edge is scalloped, cut to follow the petals. The bra closes with hooks at the back under a doubled strap. The belt carries the same doubled strap across the top with an open gap between the two, four adjustable straps with metal clips, and a hook and eye of its own. The thong is cut from the same mesh with a single string back.

Sizing

The cups are underwired and unlined, so they hold a shape without building one. Size to your bust first. The belt sits at the high hip and every strap on it adjusts, so the drop is yours to set.

Care

Hand wash cold with a mild detergent and lay all three pieces flat to dry. No machine, no dryer, no fabric softener. Coral satin creases if it dries folded, so smooth the binding flat while it is still damp, and close the hooks and the clips before it goes near water so nothing catches the mesh.

Wear it for

Valentines, anniversaries, birthdays and boudoir shoots. Coral is a warmer and louder answer than red, and it does not tip into costume the way red sometimes does.
