So this is a month where everybody is excellent at flirting and terrible at wanting. You will have three incredible conversations that go nowhere. Somebody will text you daily for four weeks and never once ask you out, and you will do the exact same thing to somebody else without noticing. On top of that there are two eclipses: one in Leo on the 12th that takes something away, and one in Pisces on the night of the 27th that closes a door and does not check with you first. The Pisces one is the last of its kind until 2034. Whatever ends this month is not coming back around.
Who Holds the Power This Month
Whoever says the plain thing first. That is the entire dynamic and it is unusually simple this time. Nobody wants to go first in August, so every room fills up with people quietly waiting to be guessed correctly. Everyone is fluent in signals. Nobody is fluent in sentences. The second you say I want you or I am not interested or I would like to try this, out loud, in actual words, you become the only person in the room who is genuinely playing.
